Just a quick note to let you know we got the eroswounded website up and running again. I'm not to good at this webpage thing...but we got it going and we will be adding more to it soon.
Be in prayer for the guys about to attend the Every Man's Battle Conference next week in Santa Clara, CA. They will be experiencing a multitude of emotions over this next week...emotions and thoughts that may lead to resistance about even entering into the doors of the conference. Pray for great courage and willingness to let their hearts be loved even in great resistance.

Keep checking www.theporntalk.com for the launch of the site in the next week. This is going to be groundbreaking in the area of prevention around porn and the next generation. Pray that this site will open major doors between parents and their teens.

Remorseful Hearts

Wow! What a weekend! First, thank you so much for your prayers for the couples attending this past weekend's Becoming One After the Fall couple's conference. The Lord worked in some awesome ways in the husband's and wives hearts and relationships. The theme that ran throughout the conference was remorse. The wives and husbands injured by the hurt of sexual betrayal were able to express their pain while the husbands and wives who had caused such deep woundedness stepped into their spouses wounds with great courage and remorse. It was so powerful and healing. God is doing some awesome work in their hearts. To the couples who journeyed with us: Thank You for your openness and willingness to go deep and journey bravely into your hearts. May the Lord continue to bless your journey.

Two quick things:

1) Rebecca has begun a sexual betrayal coaching practice to assist women in their healing journey around the devastation of sexual sin and betrayal. She has journeyed with women in this pain through the couples conferences and through her ministry at Willow Creek Community Church. And now she is looking to help women find purpose and a new beginning through a journeying through this wound. 2) I have been struggling to get our eroswounded webpage up and running again. I am very green when it comes to switching sites to different servers. If you have any advice on how to do that or know someone who does ...Please let me know. (godaddy is beginning to advertise some pretty questionable stuff on the parked free webpage)

The Journey Continues

Please accept our apologies for not updating you sooner about the happenings at eroswounded. It was a great and busy summer. I( David) taught several Every Man's Battle seminars and many men have begun the journey of sexual brokenness towards a closer connection with God and their loved ones. Rebecca has been been busily and prayfully preparing for the couples conference over the last few months. And that is where our hearts are at today: the couples conference. Over the last several years Rebecca and I have had the opportunity to walk with couples who have been injured by the wound of sexual sin and betrayal in their relationship in a conference we call Becoming One After the Fall. It begins tonight. We are asking that you will pray for God's protection as the couples arrive by plane and car. Pray that they will feel the Lord's presence as they take the time to look at their hearts and their relationship that has been injured by the wounds of sexual betrayal. Pray for the wives that God will hold their hearts in hope and strength as they begin the grieving process around the wounds. Pray for the husbands as they begin to let God reveal and begin to take away their shame that has left them isolated and fearful of intimacy for years. Pray that as God steps into their hearts that they will likewise emotionally engage each other as well. Thank you for your prayers and support. Talk with you again ... sooner than later.
